Change plans, update payment, cancel, or delete your account. Your data stays on your device — we store almost nothing.

Your Maexry Account

Your Maexry "account" is minimal by design. It consists of your email identity (authenticated via Google OAuth) and an optional Stripe subscription. That's it.

Maexry stores no personal data on our servers. No emails, no contacts, no AI keys, no classification history. Your server-side record is a user ID and a subscription tier. Everything else — your emails, your database, your keys — lives on your device and nowhere else.

Subscriptions are standalone — Pro and Instant do NOT require a separate Base purchase. One price, full access.

Three Paths

1. "I don't want subscriptions" → Buy Base ($19.99), bring your own keys, own forever.
2. "I want the full experience" → Subscribe to Pro or Instant, everything included.
3. "I want both" → Subscribe annual, get Base as permanent fallback.

Cancellation Behavior

• Trial expires → Sync and AI stop. Existing emails remain readable on-device.
• Monthly cancels → Same — sync and AI stop. Frozen archive.
• Annual cancels (doesn't renew) → Falls back to Base. BYOK/Ollama forever.

Annual subscriptions are non-refundable (this unlocks permanent Base access).

Change Your Plan

1. Open Maexry → Settings → Subscription.
2. Tap Manage Billing. This opens your Stripe billing portal.
3. Select your new plan.
4. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. Upgrades may apply immediately.

Cancel Your Subscription

1. Open Maexry → Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing.
2. In the Stripe portal, click Cancel subscription.
3. Confirm the cancellation.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep full access until then.

After cancellation of a monthly subscription, sync and AI stop. Existing emails remain readable on-device (frozen archive). Annual subscribers fall back to permanent Base access — BYOK/Ollama forever. We don't delete anything. Your emails and local database stay on your device.

You can reactivate at any time (see below).

Update Payment Method

1. Open Maexry → Settings → Subscription → Manage Billing.
2. In the Stripe portal, update your card or payment method.
3. The new payment method applies to your next billing cycle.

Delete Your Account

Deleting your Maexry account is a two-part process. Because of our zero-knowledge architecture, most of your data is already under your sole control.

Step 1 — Remove your local data: Delete the Maexry app from your device. This permanently removes your encrypted database, your stored AI keys, and all local data. There is no undo. We cannot recover this data — it existed only on your hardware.

Step 2 — Remove your server record: Email hello@maexry.ai and request deletion of your user ID and subscription record. We process these requests within 48 hours.

Your server-side record is just a user ID and billing status. It contains no emails, no contacts, no personal content. Deleting the app (Step 1) is sufficient to remove all personal data. Step 2 removes the billing record for completeness.

Reactivate After Cancellation

If your trial expired or you cancelled your subscription, your data is still on your device. Nothing was deleted.

1. Open Maexry. It still works as a full email client.
2. Go to Settings → Subscription.
3. Choose a plan and complete payment.
4. AI features reactivate immediately.

Your categories, settings, and email history are all intact — exactly where you left them.
